Umpiring Update

"Plans are only good intentions unless they immediately degenerate into hard work." - Peter Drucker. For the Love Umpired for a couple of teams last night. Both lets just say did not meet "Varsity Standards" rag tag, and for the most part many of the players told me at one point or another that it was their first or second year playing. What really caught me off guard besides the lack of knowledge of the rules, was how all of them knew that they were not going to go pro, or even past high school. As far as we all know it is nearly impossible for any player to ever make the professionals but to admit that in high school is a tough thing for a student to do. Matt Harvey

Image
Big props to Justin Masterson who pitched great last night for the win. Swisher with the walk off as well. Focused on several different games as of now first interesting matchup between the Mets and the Twins. Matt Harvey is off to a great start to the season and is looking like a legit ace. Thing seem to be looking up for the Mets for the future but jot for this season. More updates later thanks for checking in!

Quentin after taking a 3-2 fastball to the shoulder last night decided that it was going to be a good idea to attack Zack Greinke. Quentin should not have been out there in the first place. After Quentin attacked the mound as he attacked Greinke did probably the only thing which was going to save him from a Robin Ventura Nolan Ryan moment. Poor Greinke only had a chance to lower his shoulder right into Quentin's shoulder. Quentin has a history of bein...
